Q: What does "Self Adjusting" mean
exactly? |
| |
A: During normal operation TheWON
Crane Processor constantly monitors games being played and adjusts
the grab power setting to achieve the optimal balance between
winning and loosing, we like to call it "The Tease". |

Q: What is "The Tease" |
| |
A: As an experienced operator you
will full well know that a crane setup perfectly will have excellent
takings and the customers will enjoy playing. However, you will also
know that it is very difficult to keep a crane working at the right
level and not to payout too much. TheWON maintains the balance point
perfectly, creating the perfect tease for the customer and the
correct payout for the operator. |

Q: How does TheWON control the
payouts |
| |
A: Very much like how a fruit
machine does. You set set the percentage payout and the system will
aim to meet that figure sometimes the system can be over or under
the target figure in the short term, but over the long term the
system will balance itself. |

Q: How do I set the processor up? |
| |
A: The only setup required is to
change the number of games played for toy won. The system will learn
all the other settings while being played by the customer. |

| |
Q: What happens if I change from a
large/heavy toy to a small/light toy? |
| |
A: When a new toy placed into the
crane there is no need to change any settings. The system will
quickly learn the weight and size of the new toy and adjust the grab
setting accordingly to meet the target payout. |

| |
Q: How do I control the payout of
the crane? |
| |
A: There is only one figure to
adjust Plays per Toy. This can be set from 2 - 250 plays per
toy, allowing you to set the exact vend rate of the crane |
| |
| |
Q: What happens if the beam
detector fails? |
| |
A: Should the beam detectors fail
the system will continue to function and fall back on an average
game setting that has been calculated from the previous games
played. Normal operation is indicated by a RED LED on the beam
detector. |
| |
| |
Q: What settings are there? |
| |
A: There is only one setting. The
plays per toy setting, this controls the number of games played per
toy vended. |
| |
| |
Q: How long does the system take
to learn? |
| |
A: Typically 5 times the pay
cycle. For example if the system is set on 25 plays per toy this
would be about 125 plays. |

| |
Q: What happens if the grab fails
or the wiring on the gantry becomes shorted? |
| |
A: The system has built in safety
features that will prevent damaged being caused by shorts or faulty
wiring. As soon as the faulty wiring or grab is replaced system will
start working again..... |
